This collection of exquisite meditational improvisations on harmonically-matched, authentic, old Tibetan singing bowls delivers a full immersion in sacred sound. Each track consists of a different set of bowls selected for harmonic compatibility. The sequence of tracks is structured to provide a complete, full-spectrum sacred sound meditation. Much care was taken to capture the unique tonal qualities of these extraordinary instruments.

These sounds have been used for many different applications, such as an accompaniment to yoga, massage and bodywork, reiki, accupuncture, meditation and relaxation. There is some evidence that these sounds are effective in pain management. As ambient household music, Singing Bowls promotes good feng shui. We have received reports from people who have played this CD in the birthing room, and from relatives of terminal patients who used these sounds to prepare for their crossing.
